Within the scope of bilateral cooperation activities carried out under the coordination of TÜBİTAK International Relations Department, a delegation of senior representatives from the Albanian National Agency for Scientific Research and Innovation (NASRI) visited TÜBİTAK ULAKBİM on January 14, 2026. The delegation included Mirela Muca, General Manager of NASRI, Robert Dumi, General Manager of International Programs, and a representative from the Albanian Ministry of Education and Science.

Within the scope of the visit program, TUBITAK ULAKBIM Director Mehmet Mirat Satoğlu made an informative presentation on TÜBİTAK ULAKBIM's activities in the fields of academic network and information services, research infrastructures, open science and open access, and the activities carried out at national and international level. The presentation touched upon the services provided by TÜBİTAK ULAKBİM to the academic and research ecosystem in Turkey and its strategic priorities.

The members of the delegation showed interest in the work carried out by TÜBİTAK ULAKBİM and exchanged views and ideas on research infrastructures, open science applications and international collaborations that overlap with NASRI's mission areas. During the meetings, strengthening the existing cooperation and joint activities that can be realized in the future were evaluated.

The visit is expected to contribute to the strengthening of bilateral cooperation between TÜBİTAK and NASRI and to the establishment of sustainable and long-term joint studies between the two institutions.
