Cahit Arf Information Center (CABIM) is the main structure within TÜBİTAK ULAKBİM that supports Turkey's knowledge-based research ecosystem and strengthens scientific communication. It provides a wide range of services in the fields of electronic information resources, academic publishing, document provision, bibliometric analysis, open access, national indexing systems and library services in order to provide researchers with fast, reliable and sustainable access to scientific information.
While expanding access to international academic databases through the Electronic Resources National License (EKUAL) program, CABİM develops solutions to improve the quality of academic publishing in Turkey through platforms such as TR Index, DergiPark and Academic Journals. In addition, TÜBİTAK continues to support research processes with components such as Incentive for International Scientific Publications with Turkish Address (UBYT), Bibliometric Analysis, Document Provision (UBSS and TÜBESS), Collective Catalog (To-Kat) and Open Science services. Aiming to increase the quality and accessibility of scientific production, CABİM plays a strategic role in Turkey's transformation into an information society.
