Editors and Writers Regional Training Seminars
In cooperation with TÜBİTAK ULAKBİM Cahit Arf Information Center and publishers, regional training seminars will be organized for editors and authors in order to increase the quality of scientific publications.
In the seminars planned for researchers, authors and journal editors, scientific publication preparation, publishing procedures, increasing the quality of scientific periodicals and international awareness, and solutions to prevent problems that may be encountered in these processes will be shared. The schedule of the regional seminars planned for one full day and the topics of the sessions are given below.
Main topics of the editorial seminars:
- Journal publication process,
- Duties and responsibilities of editors and boards,
- Editorial process,
- Refereeing process,
- Application and evaluation criteria for national and international indexes.
Main topics of the author seminars:
- General principles of scientific writing,
- Issues to be considered in the creation of scientific writing content,
- The parts that make up scientific writing,
- Ethical rules to be followed in scientific writing,
- Selection of the journal to which the scientific manuscript will be submitted.

Important Note: Ankara, Istanbul, Izmir, Izmir, Trabzon, Diyarbakir and Erzurum regional training seminars will not be able to receive registrations for this training as the hall capacity has been reached. Thank you for your interest and we offer our regards.
