TUBITAK ULAKBIM Cahit Arf Information Center organized a "Seminar on Writing Scientific Articles" hosted by Kyrgyzstan-Turkey Manas University on October 23, 2015 at Chingiz Aitmatov Campus Kasım Tınıstanov Conference Hall.

The seminar started with the opening speeches of Kyrgyzstan Turkey Manas University Rector Prof. Dr. Sebahattin BALCI and Vice Rector Prof. Dr. Asılbek KULMIRZAYEV and continued with the presentations of Chief Specialist Mehmet BOZ and Specialist Sibel TABANLIOĞLU on behalf of TÜBİTAK ULAKBİM. In the presentations made by TÜBİTAK ULAKBİM experts, ULAKBİM and TR Index services were introduced, and it was shared that great support and importance is given to scientific publication activities as an institution.

The seminar was attended by 124 Turkish and Kyrgyz academicians and researchers working at Kyrgyzstan Turkey Manas University.

In the seminar planned upon the invitation of the university, Prof. Dr. Bünyamin ŞAHİN and Prof. Dr. Hilal ÖZDAĞ, members of TÜBİTAK ULAKBİM TR Index Committee, made presentations on scientific article writing and publishing processes, journal selection and publication ethics. After 4 separate sessions, the seminar continued with questions and answers. At the end of the seminar, participants were given a certificate of participation by TÜBİTAK ULAKBİM.
