Initiated in 2006 by TUBITAK ULAKBIM EKUAL Project National license agreements are made for e-information resources with high authority and high impact value in their field and made available to universities in our country and TRNC. Our project has been carried out uninterruptedly since 2006, and we are trying to create equal opportunities among researchers in accessing scientific information by including new subscriptions within the budget availability.
Currently, EKUAL services are provided for our universities with 10 databases and 1 plagiarism analysis program, and we would like to share the EKUAL subscription planning studies for 2018 for informational purposes.

The negotiation processes for the mentioned databases have been completed and the subscription decision has been taken. After the reviews of TUBITAK Strategy Development and Legal Departments, it is aimed to provide EKUAL access as of January 1, 2018. Detailed information about the relevant databases will be provided separately by the EKUAL database managers after the approval of the relevant TUBITAK Departments and the signing of the license agreements.
National license negotiations were also conducted for SAGE, CUP and OUP databases, but no subscription decision could be taken due to the lack of appropriate conditions.
Subscription Renewals:
License renewal negotiations for EKUAL IEEE and OVID LWW databases have been completed and our subscriptions will be renewed for the 2018-2020 period.
