Samsun İlkadım District Directorate of National Education and Samsun Anatolian High School signed a protocol with TUBITAK ULAKBIM for the first time in Turkey to organize training for the dissemination of the National Operating System Pardus to high school students.
The signing ceremony held in Ankara TÜBİTAK ULAKBIM was held with the participation of İlkadım District Director of National Education Halil İbrahim Akmeşe, Samsun Anatolian High School Principal Mehmet İNCE, TÜBİTAK ULAKBIM Project Executive Cengiz Çelik and TÜBİTAK ULAKBIM Institute Manager Mehmet Mirat Satoğlu.
In this context; It will be organized under the name of "PARDUS and OPEN SOURCE DAYS" (PAK) between 7-8-9-10 May. In the project, which will be realized with the participation of 150 students interested in Computer Science from 49 high schools; trainings will be given to students on Open Source, Free Software and National Operating System PARDUS with the support of trainers from İlkadım District Directorate of National Education, TÜBİTAK ULAKBİM and Internet Technologies Association.
İlkadım District Director of National Education Halil İbrahim Akmeşe stated that with this project, it is aimed for students to learn the National Operating System PARDUS as well as to spread the use of PARDUS on all interactive boards throughout Samsun, especially in İlkadım district.
