Trainings on the use and promotion of the TR Index system, which was put into service on July 18, 2018 with its updated and new interface, continue.

The second "TR Index Process Management System Training" for journal officers, editors and publishers was held on October 18, 2018 at TÜBİTAK ULAKBİM Ministry of Industry and Technology Conference Hall in order to share the new structure of the Online Journal Monitoring System (ODİS), which is used in the TR Index application and evaluation processes of journals, and changes in process management and to inform them in line with the criteria.

120 journal managers and editors attended the training, which started with the opening speech of M. Mirat SATOĞLU, Director of TÜBİTAK ULAKBİM. In his speech, SATOĞLU stated that the work on the National Citation Index project started in 2017 and in 2018, the first version of the TR Index with the citation feature was put into service in July. It was informed that the 3-year project will continue to be developed until the end of this year and in 2019.

It was also stated that the TR Index search interface provides access to the citation information of publications along with detailed search results, and that the TR Index is integrated with internal and external systems.

The training, which continued with an informative presentation and demo presentation of TR Directory, was completed with interactive questions, answers and suggestions.
