The National Academic Network ULAKNET has been part of the European Academic Network GÉANT for nearly 20 years. In this context, there is a fully redundant connection between ULAKNET and GÉANT, with the main line via Budapest and the backup line via Frankfurt. The capacity of these lines, which has been 30 Gbps since 2017, has increased to 100 Gbps as of June 2021. We wish that the additional capacity provided with this increase will be beneficial to the researchers in our country.
