We are pleased to announce that SCOAP3 (Sponsoring Consortium for Open Access Publishing in Particle Physics), of which TÜBİTAK ULAKBİM is a member and representative on behalf of Turkey, has started to make books in the field of High Energy Physics available to the public as open access.
The following four books from World Scientific are openly available through the publisher's website. They have also been uploaded to Portico. CERN, which runs the SCOAP3 organization, has entered the contract phase for publishers other than World Scientific and the books are expected to be published open access in the coming months.
Sponsoring Consortium for Open Access Publishing in Particle Physics/SCOAP3, an international consortium formed to centralize the money that countries and institutions pay to existing High Energy Physics (HEP) journals and to make the HEP articles in these journals open access, is an open access project and is supported by TÜBİTAK ULAKBİM. TURKEY is one of the 46 member countries of the SCOAP3 consortium.
