Strengthening Scientific Cooperation with Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences (AMEA)

TUBITAK ULAKBIM Director Mehmet Mirat Satoğlu paid a visit to Azerbaijan upon the invitation of the Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences (AMEA). During the visit, he shared the knowledge and experience of TÜBİTAK ULAKBİM in order to support Azerbaijan's scientific studies and observed the work of AMEA and its affiliated institutes in the field of academic journals and electronic academic services.

President of the National Academy of Sciences of Azerbaijan, Academician Isa Habibbeyli stated that scientific cooperation between Turkey and Azerbaijan is developing and this cooperation contributes significantly to Azerbaijan's scientific studies.

Habibbeyli expressed his satisfaction with the scientific cooperation with TÜBİTAK and stated that AMEA is in scientific cooperation with many reputable academic institutions in Turkey and that these relations are constantly expanding. In this context, he said that they attach great importance to the establishment of new relations with TÜBİTAK ULAKBİM.

Satoğlu, Director of TÜBİTAK ULAKBİM, stated that they were pleased with the invitation of the Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences and that they were proud of their cooperation in sharing information. Stating that he believes that this visit will contribute to the continuation of scientific cooperation between Turkey and Azerbaijan, Satoğlu gave information about the activities of TÜBİTAK ULAKBİM, especially DergiPark and TR Index. Mehmet Mirat Satoğlu, who shared Pippa Smart's Editor's Handbook and its Turkish translation in printed and electronic form with AMEA executives, wished AMEA success in their academic studies.
