The consortium of European partners, led by the University of Luxembourg, was supported by EuroHPC JU to create the first pan-European master's program in High Performance Computing (HPC): High Performance Computing (HPC)) was supported by EuroHPC JU to create the first pan-European master's program in High Performance Computing (HPC).

Middle East Technical University will be a participating university in the commission and TÜBİTAK ULAKBİM will also take part in the studies with its TRUBA center. The program, which is expected to start in the fall semester of 2022, will provide students with extraordinary career perspectives in the rapidly developing fields of HPD, High Performance Data Analytics (HPDA) and Artificial Intelligence.

A consortium of European universities, research and supercomputing centers and industrial partners with a total budget of €7 million;

  • To train students in the design, deployment, operation and/or utilization of current and next generation ICT and ICT-related technologies
  • To train experts skilled in enabling the adoption and knowledge transfer of ICT in different strategic areas in industry and academia, thereby linking ICT activities in industry and academia

will form the master's program with its main objectives.

The presence of ICT system administrators, architects, ICT competent data scientists, ICT application developers and expert ICT users is a key factor driving digital transformation in Europe and requires the training of talented graduate students.

While many university curricula include basic computer science and programming languages, curricula must be able to adapt to the rapidly evolving ICT technology ecosystem. The curriculum of this pilot Master's program will be designed in a modular structure so that it can easily be fully or partially integrated into new or existing Master's programs.

One of the key objectives of the initiative is to strengthen mobility between European universities, research centers and industry. The new Master's program centered on ICT will reach target groups in the scientific and industrial field, serving key actors in the private and public sectors.
