The 2nd Workshop on the Development of Curricula for Special Abilities was held in Ankara between July 30 and August 3, 2018 within the scope of the curriculum development studies for special abilities carried out in cooperation with TÜBİTAK ULAKBİM and the Ministry of National Education General Directorate of Special Education and Guidance Services.

In their speeches, Mr. M. Mirat SATOĞLU, Director of ULAKBIM, and Mr. Celil Güngör, Director General of Special Education and Guidance Services of the Ministry of National Education, emphasized the importance of this study in improving the quality of education offered to gifted students and thanked everyone who contributed to the work.

Under the general coordination of Prof. Dr. Uğur Sak, 36 academics from 25 different universities, 58 teachers from Science and Art Centers (BİLSEM) and schools participated in the workshop, where curricula developed for primary school level were evaluated by curriculum development experts and curricula were revised with in-group studies.
