Didim State Hospital, which uses the Pardus National Operating System, broke new ground by receiving the Stage 6 certificate in the evaluation made by the international non-governmental organization HIMSS (Health Information and Management Systems Society).
Within the scope of digital hospital evaluation studies carried out in cooperation with the Republic of Turkey Ministry of Health, General Directorate of Health Information Systems, Public Hospitals Authority of Turkey and Medipol University, Medipol University representatives visited Didim State Hospital on August 04, 2017 and made measurements to evaluate the contribution of technology to patient safety and improving the quality of health care according to HIMSS EMRAM (Electronic Medical Health Record Adaptation Model). In the evaluations made, the fact that special importance was given to the use of Pardus, the national and open source operating system, and the successful integration with laboratory devices was seen as an effort worthy of appreciation.
This effort of Didim State Hospital has enabled it to be the first hospital in our country to have the HIMSS Stage 6 certificate using the National Operating System Pardus.
