The EuroCC Project, which aims to establish High Performance Computing (HPC) Competence Centers in Europe and is supported by the EuroHPC-04-2019 call, started on September 1, 2020.
With the support of EuroCC, the work of the ICT Competence Center to be established in our country will be carried out under the coordination of TÜBİTAK ULAKBİM with the participation of Middle East Technical University and Sabancı University. In this context, it is aimed to reveal the existing competencies, determine the needs, provide training and consultancy, and initiate university-industry partnership in the application of ICT.
Ulusal YBH Yetkinlik Merkezi, %50’si Avrupa Birliği fonundan sağlanmak üzere toplam 2 Milyon Avro bütçeye sahiptir.

The EuroCC Project will support interdisciplinary collaborative work in the fields of materials sciences, molecular dynamics, bioinformatics, fluid dynamics, machine learning and artificial intelligence through the establishment of national ICT Competence Centers in the participating countries and will create a Europe-wide network of ICT Competence Centers.
Almanya koordinatörlüğünde 2 yıl süre ile yürütülecek olan projede 33 ortak yer almaktadır. EuroHPC çağrıları kapsamında başlatılan EuroCC Projesi 57 Milyon Avro bütçeye sahip olup bütçenin %50’si Avrupa Birliği H2020 RI Programından gelirken diğer yarısı katılımcı ülkelerden gelecektir.
The EuroHPC Joint Initiative, of which TÜBİTAK is a participating member, was launched in 2018 to support and develop High Performance Computing (HPC) studies in the field of infrastructure and technology across Europe.
