EuroCC@Turkey National ICD Competence Center Publishes a New Technical Report on "Development of a Maturity Assessment Tool to Enhance SME ICD Competencies"

National Competence Center (NCC) Turkey has established the first national structure consisting of NCC centers, academia and various partnerships to increase the High Performance Computing (HPC) competencies of Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) within the scope of the EuroCC Project. In order to improve the HPC maturity of SMEs for the emerging European supercomputing ecosystem, NCC Turkey collaborated with SMEs to produce success stories in the manufacturing, transportation, finance and engineering sectors. In this context, SME-HPC-MM (SME-HPC-MM) was developed based on SME collaborations, EuroCC ICT experience level definitions and Information Technology (IT) process evaluation standards. The maturity model has a structure that supports the participation of SMEs in the European HPC ecosystem (EuroHPC) and will also be able to guide SMEs' HPC process improvements and develop Competence Center-SME collaborations.
