The first Workshop of the Special Education and Guidance Services Project, organized by TÜBİTAK ULAKBİM Educational Technologies Unit, was held on February 18, 2017 at TÜBİTAK Presidential Building Mustafa İnan Conference Hall with the participation of academics and teachers who are experts in the field of special education and guidance.
In their speeches, Mr. M. Mirat SATOĞLU, Director of ULAKBIM and Mr. Turgut BAĞRIAÇIK, Head of Programs and Instructional Materials Department of the General Directorate of Special Education and Guidance Services of the Ministry of National Education, emphasized the importance of special education and stated that faster and more effective results can be achieved in the studies carried out with the cooperation provided in this context.
At the Workshop on Special Education and Guidance Services, presentations by academics who are experts in their fields indicated the principles on which curricula will be prepared to meet the needs of pre-school students, students with moderate to severe mental disabilities and students with autism. After the presentations, a general evaluation was made with questions-answers and suggestions.
