The delegation headed by Marcelle Ibinga Itsitsa, Minister of Higher Education, Scientific Research and Technological Innovation of Gabon, who visited our country within the scope of Turkey's efforts to expand science and technology cooperation in the African continent, visited TÜBİTAK ULAKBİM Data Center on February 24, 2025 and examined our supercomputer ARF.

During their first visit to TÜBİTAK, the delegation discussed opportunities to improve scientific and technological cooperation between the two countries and joint projects. Afterwards, the delegation visited TÜBİTAK ULAKBİM Data Center and had the opportunity to closely examine Turkey's infrastructure in the field of artificial intelligence, big data and advanced computing technologies.

During the meeting, TUBITAK ULAKBIM Director Mehmet Mirat Satoğlu talked about the services provided by ULAKBIM such as ULAKNET, EKUAL, TR Index, DergiPark and stated that TUBITAK ULAKBIM is always ready to share its knowledge and experience. The Guest Minister and his delegation left the meeting expressing their satisfaction with the meeting and their wishes for further contacts.
