The 2020 evaluation studies for the "TÜBİTAK Science, Special, Service and Incentive Awards" and the "Polar Studies Award", which are given by TÜBİTAK in order to support research and development activities in scientific and technological fields, to enable the development of researchers and the training of new scientists, have been finalized.

A total of 4 Science Awards, 1 Special Award and 13 Incentive Awards were given by TÜBİTAK Board of Directors. Two of the science prizes were awarded to Prof. Dr. Mustafa Soylak, member of the editorial board of Turkish Journal of Chemistry, and Prof. Dr. İsmail Türkan, member of the editorial board of Turkish Journal of Biology and Turkish Journal of Botany, respectively. Prof. Dr. Mustafa SOYLAK, "For his internationally outstanding work in the field of Analytical Chemistry, especially in solid-phase extraction and microextraction in the fields of separation and separation methods", Prof. Dr. İsmail TÜRKAN was awarded the Science Prize for his "outstanding international studies in the field of plant science, especially plant stress physiology and molecular physiology".
