Connection between ULAKNET and GÉANT reaches 100Gbps

ULAKNET, the National Academic Network, has been a part of the European Academic Network GÉANT for nearly 20 years. In this context, there is a fully redundant connection between ULAKNET and GÉANT through the main line Budapest and the redundant line Frankfurt. The capacity of these lines, which was 30 Gbps as from the year 2017, has become 100 Gbps as at June, 2021. We wish that the additional capacity gained as a result  of this increase will contribute to the achievements of our country’s researchers.
