As ULAKBİM, we took part in Turkey's first "Aviation, Space and Technology Festival (TEKNOFEST) 2018", which was held at İGA Istanbul New Airport on September 20-23, with TÜBİTAK among its stakeholders, with our Pardus Project. Technology lovers, who showed great interest in the Pardus Project at TÜBİTAK's booth, had the chance to try our Pardus 17.3 XFCE and Pardus 17.3 DDE (64-bit) versions and examine Pardus ETAP, which was specially developed for Interactive Boards, on the Interactive Board while getting information about the Pardus operating system distribution.

Within the scope of TEKNOFEST 2018, 5 people among the science-loving students who retweeted our President Prof. Dr. Hasan MANDAL's post on Twitter won the right to meet Prof. Dr. MANDAL face to face. Murat YEŞİLTEPE, one of these lucky students, had the chance to personally convey his suggestions about the Pardus project to ULAKBİM Director M. Mirat SATOĞLU.

During the 4-day festival, Mustafa VARANK, Minister of Industry and Technology, Mehmet Fatih KACIR, Deputy Minister of Industry and Technology, Dr. Ali Taha KOÇ, President of the Digital Transformation Office of the Presidency, Selçuk BAYRAKTAR, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of T3 Foundation, Mevlüt UYSAL, Mayor of Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality, and many other students, teachers and participants visited our stand, received information about the Pardus project, and shared their opinions and suggestions.
