Version 17.3 of Pardus, which continues to be developed by TÜBİTAK ULAKBİM, has been released.
The most important feature of the new release is the Pardus Store. Now you can easily install new applications, uninstall installed applications and discover new applications using the Pardus Store. In addition to these, there are also many improvements.
What is new?
- Fixed use case issues in many graphical interfaces encountered by end users.
- Many system performance-impacting package updates and optimizations have been made.
- Over 200 security updates including packages and patches have been added to the system.
- The default background has been changed.
- Pardus Store (0.1.1~beta2), a unique innovative application, was added to the system.
- The necessary background support was provided to enable the Pardus Store application to install third-party applications on the system, making it easier for end-users to use.
