The "Entrepreneurial and Innovative University Index", in which universities are ranked by TÜBİTAK according to their entrepreneurship and innovation performance, was announced by Nihat Ergün, Minister of Science, Industry and Technology, at a press conference held at TÜBİTAK.

The Top 50 Most Entrepreneurial and Innovative Universities are Shared with the Public

For the first time in Turkey, the Entrepreneurial and Innovative University Index prepared by TÜBİTAK last year announced the 50 most entrepreneurial and innovative universities in Turkey. The index ranks universities according to their entrepreneurship and innovation performance, contributing to the development of the entrepreneurship ecosystem by increasing entrepreneurship and innovation-oriented competition among universities. With the index, universities are ranked according to 23 indicators under the dimensions of scientific and technological research competence, intellectual property pool, cooperation and interaction, entrepreneurship and innovation culture, and economic contribution and commercialization. In addition to YÖK and TÜİK, the Ministry of Science, Industry and Technology, TPI, Ministry of Development, TÜBA, TTGV and KOSGEB contributed to the Index, which has been announced every year since last year.
