The ULAKNET Izmir Node Point, which has been serving in an area shared with the University in the System Room of Izmir Dokuz Eylül University, was planned to be moved to a new area assigned exclusively for ULAKBIM's use with the renovation works carried out by the University.
In this context, the allocated area was organized, uninterruptible power supply, battery groups, generator, DC rectifier, air conditioning system, fire extinguishing system equipment were provided and installed.
All fiber optic and electrical infrastructure of the new system room was renewed, and ULAKNET hardware and the hardware of the service providers were moved on July 9, 2021.
