With a ceremony for signing a collaboration protocol hosted by TÜBİTAK ULAKBİM, Kahramanmaraş Metropolitan Municipality has started its process of transition to Pardus, operating system developed by TÜBİTAK.
On 02 February 2018, a collaboration protocol was signed with TÜBİTAK ULAKBİM in order to investigate the use of Pardus and its open source sub-technologies at Kahramanmaraş Metropolitan Municipality and to enable popularization of its use in the later stage.
In 2018 under the protocol, Pardus and other open source technologies will be tested at the municipality and those computers eligible for the transition will be switched to Pardus. Moreover, user and client computer administrations will cooperate with Pardus and open source sub-projects on system security.
