TUBITAK ULAKBIM is rapidly continuing its projects to transform the ULAKNET national academic network into an education and research network with its fiber-optic infrastructure to provide Turkish researchers with a flexible and sustainable electronic infrastructure high capacity national and international connections compatible with new technologies.
As part of the electronic communication infrastructure established and operated by TUBITAK ULAKBIM in cooperation with Konya Municipality in 2010, the Faculty of Fine Arts of Necmettin Erbakan University and the Continuing Education Center of Konya Technical University were included. Konya now has 14 units directly connected to the ULAKNET infrastructure via fiber optics by adding these two units.
