The Committee of Gabon that arrived in our country to analyze on site the studies carried out by TÜBİTAK on research, development, technology and innovation in the fields of natural sciences, environmental sciences, social and human sciences, medical and health sciences, agricultural sciences, numerical sciences and engineering visited our Directorate on May 13, 2024.
Director Mirat Satoğlu and Deputy Director Hayrettin Bucak, Senior Specialist Researcher İzzet Aydın and Chief Specialist Researcher Tamer Übeyli from TÜBİTAK ULAKBİM; and General Director of Scientific Research at the Minister of Higher Education, Scientific Research and Technological Innovation, Jean-Emery Etoughe-Efe, and Diplomatic Advisor of the Minister, Olivia Charléne Eyumane Assoumou, and Chief of Protocol and Human Resources official at the Embassy of Gabon, Thibault Ifounga, as well as specialists Marcelin Nkoghe Ondo and Paul-Bruno Missenegui from the Committee of Gabon attended the meeting.
During the meeting, Director of TÜBİTAK ULAKBİM (Scientific and Technological Research Council of Türkiye - Turkish Academic Network and Information Center), Mirat Satoğlu, told briefly about the history of TÜBİTAK ULAKBIM, particularly underlining our ULAKNET infrastructure, super computer TRUBA and the services offered by Cahit Arf Information Center. Following the presentations, the committee visited our new data center. Senior Chief Specialist Researchers Onur Temizsoylu and Hakan Bayındır promoted our new data center and the studies carried out at the center.
